The fourth Sweetwater Camera Club shootout contest held on Sunday, September 18th resulted in the following awards:

Category1: Glowing:

2nd Place – Sandra Belk – Glowing lamps (color)
3rd Place – Nicolette – Glowing (b&w)

Category2: Car Parts:

Karen Kendrick named 2008 Photographer of the Year!!

At the December Holiday Party on December 13th, Karen Kendrick was applauded as the Sweetwater Camera Club Photographer of the Year. This is not an easy contest to win. In order to become photographer of the year the SCC member must enter as many monthly contests as possible in as many categories as possible (Color, Monochrome & Field Trip). In addition, the member must win as many first, second and third place ribbons as possible in order to accumulate the most points at the end of the year. Congratulations to Karen! You have set a new standard for the SCC!
