Lighting expert John Williams to speak at the Sweetwater Camera Club on Thursday, April 9, 2009
By Richard Nichols
At our April 2009 meeting, noted speaker, lighting instructor and photographic equipment manufacturer's representative John Williams presented a lecture entitled "An Introduction to Off-Camera Flash." John's phenomenal credentials include a stint as one of the founding instructors of the Nikon School of Photography.

John is currently a Southeastern photographic equipment manufacturer's sales rep for a variety of lighting and imaging products. Here is a quote from his website at http://www.myphotorep.com:

"I've spent most of my life teaching the thrill of photography.  As a founding instructor of the world famous "Nikon School of Photography" to the "Beseler Color Printing School" to my current "Lights, Camera, Portraits" program, my goal has been to teach the excitment of photo imaging.  Please join me. John Williams"
Williams appeared before the Sweetwater Camera Club a few years ago, before most of our current members joined us. This turned out to be a wonderful lecture. John says that he has been speaking publically for over 40 years. He set up and demonstrated a variety of lighting equipment and portrait scenarios. Natasha Stansel served as our model . . .

Members and visitors to the SCC meeting learned how to use a variety of flash equipment and portrait setups to make great photos in a controlled lighting environment. John gave us a fun and informative lecture! Please visit John's MyPhotoRep.com website.
